Student Liability Release

In consideration of participation in this firearms training class taught by Raul Garcia and access to the facilities where the class is being taught I acknowledge and represent to Raul Garcia, the assistant instructors, agents, course operators, and owners of the facility and property where the course is being taught that I assume all risk of injury and release these parties from any and all liabilities, claims, injuries and damages of any type which may arise as a result of my participation in this class, including but not limited to, personal injury and/or death from an intentional or accidental firearm discharge, weapon malfunction, bodily injuries from physical activities and exertions associated with the firearms training and facility obstacles whether obvious or not obvious. I also release these parties from any claims or damages relating to property loss, property theft, or any other liabilities caused by the actions or inaction of these parties, defects in the equipment, premises, or facilities used.

I understand and agree that any bodily injury, death, or loss of personal property and expenses as a result of my negligence in any scheduled or unscheduled activities is my responsibility. I also state and acknowledge that the activities associated with this firearms training class involves the risk of personal injury as a result of the use of a firearm or being around others using firearms.

I also agree to indemnify and hold harmless these parties from any and all liabilities or claims made by myself, my agents, or other individuals or entities as a result of my actions during this class.

I certify that I am physically and mentally capable of undertaking instruction in this class and have not been advised otherwise that I cannot participate.

I also acknowledge that this release shall be legally binding on my family, my estate, heirs, assigns, successors, legal guardians, and personal representatives.
